San Francisco

Battery Spencer (in my opinion) is the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge and has decent parking. Once you get your oblatory bridge picture head into the city and check out the many neighborhoods.

Mission District

My favorite District, so here are so places to check out:

-El Techo

-The Beehive

-Mission Dolores Park

Other places around San Francisco to see:

-Fisherman’s Wharf

-Lombard Street

-Tony’s Pizza Napoletena

-Going up Coit Tower and heading down the Greenwich Steps

-You could spend days exploring the Golden gate Park

Point Reyes National Seashore

It feels like you are in a different country when you head into the area - the most scenic drive through rolling luscious hills with elk and as you make your way to the Lighthouse you pass a few view points like the Shipwrecks and Cypress Tree Tunnel. There’s some trailheads and beaches that you can also stop out for the day, but if you want to get some food in the area.. I highly recommend Cafe Reyes for the pizza and oysters!

Muir Woods

The beautiful redwoods at the at Muir Woods National Monument were like no other - make sure to get a ticket before visiting as it gets busy very fast! After a nice hike through the woods we headed to Pelican Inn for an English styled lunch in an old cottage Inn before hitting the Beach.

Sonoma

We headed to wine country, but stopped in Sonoma instead of Napa and it was such a great day! Gundlach Bundschu Winery has a great selection of wine on 320 acres of land. The Winery sits on a reservoir that also saved their crops during the fires! In town is this amazing restaurant called the girl & the fig - it is french country fare, that is a rustic bistro.
